Surprises and Coincidence!
A few words about mail I sent and got today!
First of all, I posted 4 cards that I got addresses yesterday. There were no surprises at all as I sent to Russia, Lithuania, the Ukraine and Finland.
Hope receivers will like what I chose for them!
And as for postcards I received today ... the day is full of surprises!
I got a lovely card from my pal Ksenia. She sent it from Israel where she spent several days. This card is absolutely lovely and bright, the stamp is nice as well, though I didn't take a photo of it.

Finally, I got something official from postcrossers! :)
Actually, I was waiting for my 700th postcard to come, but I didn't expect that today I would get 5 postcards! So, also my 700th card came today and now I have 701 received postcards. I am happy!
I got a nice card from the Netherlands. It is a bike with tulips. The card is called "Tulips for Sale" and it is the work of Tjalf Sparnaay. I like tulips (they are my favorite flowers) and I like bikes on postcards. It may be funny, but I can't ride a bike :) Shhh, do not tell anyone!
One German card made my day. It is so optimistic and really helps feel good during these short and dull days. The card says "Don't take the life so hard to live, a strawberry cake helps a lot there!" So true! ;)
Also two Lithuanian postcards made their way to me. One depicts Kernave Mounds, where wooden castles of Litnuanian Royals stood and the card is written in Polish which I really appreciate! Diana who sent it works as a translator in Vilnius. What I especially like is a new stamp connected with the euro introduction in Lithuania. Here it is
The other card is just a cute card in a retro style.
The card I liked most of all comes from France ;)
It seems to be my 700th postcard! The person who sent it works in a huge bookshop in France... Lille! ;) Ksenia, I'd really want to see your comments here ;)
Maybe it is a sign, not just coincidence?!
So, this was my day, full of mail and nice surprises!
700th postcard from Lille? That can't be just a coincidence! I'm afraid someone will have to take the TGV train... ;) I'm glad you liked my postcard from Israel!
